Citizens Bank

Citizens Bank is now accepting applications for Citizens Minority Small Business Grants

August 3 | 4:14 pm–August 7 | 5:00 pm

Citizens will award 100 minority-owned businesses with grants of $15,000 each!  To apply, a business must be:

  • At least 51% minority owned, operated and controlled by an Asian American, Black American, Hispanic American or Native American 
  • Either a Citizens Bank Business Banking account holder or, if not a Citizens customer, based with 11-state footprint
  • In business for at least one year, with annual revenue of no more than $1 million 

Eligible businesses can submit a statement (up to 150 words) describing how they would use the grant to strengthen and sustain both their business and their community.

South Carolina Community Loan Fund's Feeding Innovation Program is now accepting applications

July 15 | 12:00 am–August 14 | 5:00 pm

Feeding Innovation participants engage in an eight week entrepreneurial training program featuring NxLevel Courses facilitated by Clemson Extension.  The courses cover everything needed to develop a basic healthy food business plans from marketing to financial planning to negotiations and deal-making.  The entrepreneur with the strongest business plan is awarded $20,000 in seed capital.  Applications will be accepted starting July 15th to August 14th.
